If two people meet and they CANNOT go to either person's home, is there anywhere else they can go where it wouldn't be illegal to have sex? [in the United States]

Sure, a motel. :D If you mean somewhere free, no way (unless you have a van or something that passerby's can't see in). As that would put the motels out of business.

Any place the public has access to, such as a public restroom, in bushes/trees/wooded areas, etc; or where people can see you, such as in your backyard, car, etc.

Generally speaking, no. But I'm sure there's a few bible belt cities with enough kooks on the city council to pass a city ordinance to that effect. But I doubt that it'd be enforceable, other than prohibiting rentals for less than 24 hours. It'd be a good idea to call ahead and ask what the minimum rental period is.

camping is awesome for having sex outdoors, which would technically be 'in public'

Locally, there is a motel that charges by the hour; $20 for two hours. It is clean and straight porn plays on the TV. The room has a small bathroom with sink, commode and shower. Clean towels and washcloths are provided too.

If you get caught u can get arrested and possibly get registered as a sex offender, the last guy I went out with/am now friends with had this happen to him (even lost his life guarding job since he worked for the county and they found out about it)
