Sex with Married Men

Married men make the best lovers because... they want it more!

I have to agree.

We're all here on this planet for a short time.

And if you can give happiness to another human being

- for just a short while -

what's the harm...

I think the harm is pretty obvious. While giving one person a bit of pleasure, you're destroying a relationship, a family and your own integrity.

If that's the kind of thing you're into, then yo, be who you be, but I personally could never feel good about myself afterwards.

1. To know I purposly 'cause an innocent woman (or man for cheating in general) this hurt and feeling that their spouse doesn't think they're good enough, would just make me feel horrid.

2. To know I don't care enough about myself to sleep with a guy who has no intentions but to use me, would make me feel useless.

It would always haunt me.... but this is coming from a person who has been cheated on, so I think it's a little biased, since I know the hurt and pain, and I would never want to inflict that pain and hurt onto another human being.

And Paladin, you're giving happiness to one(or so you think), while taking away from another. That's the harm.

I think IMO Cheating in general, is for heartless people who don't care enough for their spouces or themselves.

Tell you what?

You go ask Ted Haggert's wife what the harm is in being married and shagging men on the side.

You go ask James McGreevey's wife if she's a big supporter of gay men who marry women for cover.

In fact, you go ask the thousands of women out there who's husbands just married them because they needed a prop so they could stay "Well respected in the community" how they feel about really just being a fancy piece of furniture and not a real wife.

Hey.. do us a real favour as go find Ronn's wife or BiMarriedMale's wife and ask them how they feel about how their husbands are out fucking men and coming home with STDs to share.

I bet they WILL be able to see a bit of harm in the whole thing.

Call me kooky...|

Thanks Soil...you speak for many

You know, it's when I read threads like this - where the most decent and respectable are the out guys - that I have confidence in the up-coming generation of gay men.

When we won't let some married closet-homo react in shock and talk down to us because we're taking the "moral high ground" by not going "oooo it's hot" that he's banging the whole bath house while at a convention.... it warms the cockles of my heart.

As far as I am concerned, what grown adults do behind closed doors is nobody else's business.

I am not one to sit in judgement.

Proclaiming yourselves to be more "decent" and "respectable" than the rest of us.

That's where bigotry starts.

Make that "what grown adults do behind closed doors with the consent of those involved", and I think you've got it. And if a dude is married, his wife is involved. If she doesn't know, then he's in violation of a solemn covenant, and you're aiding and abetting. If she knows and is down with it, sky's the limit!

(Consenting) adults goes without saying; at least I thought it did.

What happens between two people really is just between them. I'm not big on all this solemn covenant, sacred vows stuff. Despite the best of youthful intentions the reality is, it is not in man's nature to forsake all others. Sometimes these things happen.

Having said that I should point out now that I am not married and have never led a woman up the garden path. Nor have I been involved with married men (to my knowledge).

I am however, tolerant and forgiving, and stay out of other people's affairs.

I will retreat now and wait for the rain of blows.

technically we ARE staying out of people's affairs. You don't see me banging down their door and telling her about it. I'm not a monster.

but in a thread about it, I'll gleefully give my opinion, and no amount of being called a "little old lady" for asking men to show a bit of fucking integrity is going to stop me.

I've had sex with two married men (at different times) but turned them both down for a repeat performance. Both had children, and it seemed to me I felt more guilty about what I was doing to their family than they were. In addition, I've never been too interested in casual sex, and a long term relationship with a married man is a problem - to say the least. So from whatever way I look at it, I'm not interested in married guys.

WRONG! lol

If you think a woman doesn't have the right to know her husband is running around behind her back, you're crazy.

When you get married you take a vowel, an oath, to love and stay true to each other till death do you part. If that is being broken, the wife has the right to know, so she can leave him and take half his shit!

I once turned in a married man who was sleeping with one of my best friends. His wife left him, took the kids, the cars and the house. He lives in a one bedroom apartment now, who has to take the bus to work. Isn't great to see God's work unfold? What goes around comes around, you think it's ok to 'cause someone that kind of pain, someone is goona think the same about you, double. Just something to think about.

Not trying to attack anyone, just saying my two cents.

Absolutely.

Also absolutely.

I was married. I was never unfaithful to my wife. When I came out at the age of thirty-two, she was the first person I told. After all, this woman gave two beautiful children I owed her that much. She was crushed and we divorced. I still to this day feel guilty.

Anyway, after I came out what amazed me was how many married men I knew and worked with wanted a quick roll in the bedroom. Men that I would never suspect of being bi-sexual or gay. I never took any of them up on their offers. I figured what the hell, they needed to as honest with themselves as I been with my family and myself.

PS
Today after years of drama and turmoil, my ex-wife, her husband, my partner and I are very good friends. We finally decided that friendship and love were better than hate. She is wonderful mother and my best friend.
