Every year when Victoria's Secret announces to get ready for the 'Sexiest Night On Earth' I go

Statistically there are more women than men. More gay male percentage among men than lesbians among women. So it's not even half but more than that do not find girls sexually attractive.

There isn't any male underwear show as big as Victoria's Secret that celebrates sexy men but this Cosmo Bash in Philippines is the closest thing I've seen to it. Wish it got more coverage in the media or there was an International equivalent to it.

Just downright sexy men and unabashed skin show

Both. Limiting the models' look to Pinoy hairless and Chippendale-like physiques makes them monotonous. They may as well be the Stepford Wives of sexiness, which is a very boring idea.

I have a friend who is Thai and buff, about their age. I think he looks cute, but I wouldn't if he were in a lineup of clones like that. It almost looks like satire.

It's always like that in both west or east..
the guys on catwalk always slightly more masculine than the audience. They always somehow more convincing even though they're heavily dressed by the 'queens' behind the stage

Actually I watched the Ladyboy Series - http://docuwiki.net/index.php?title=Ladyboys:_Series_2 and it said there that the Philippines has the most amount of pageants.

One must be delusional to think that is - fashion.

Those costumes are part of the pageantry - the more innovative/outrageous - the better for me

That's what I'm most envious about VS - the costumes that create fantasy - especially the wings
