and all in the public forum at tha same time ?

Anybody have any idea what is going on , thanx ?
 
yo .. i heard there are some moderator on this forum here. they are the people that block/lock threads'n'stuff. they might know what's going on. they even have a forum just for this. it's called "ask the moderators". i know, i know .. the name totally does not let you guess what you might use this forum for, but trust me .. it's for asking the moderators questions.

Also thinking you just dont do that and try and make your Supporters and members look like idiots.

Lets stop being so rude to medic1. Maybe he didn't want to ask the moderators, maybe he wanted to ask the regular users, ever think about that?
 
On one hand sure. He wanted to ask a question and ask the folks who couldnt have possibly locked out threads.

On the other hand after you have been here a long time as Medic1 has then you should be aware there is a place to ask such questions.

I saw some smart ass remarks BUT arent we all being just a little thin skinned?

I mean sure Corny said it in a smart mouthed way but cant that be a little fun?

Instead of getting all butt hurt could it be possible to say "Doh, I forgot about that thread"

So yeah plenty of people could of acted different but is it really all that bad? I mean really?
 
I guess it comes down to whether you feel that, once you get a hall monitor badge, you no longer can play on the playground.

I didnt see it RB but I imagine if the Mods locked it then it was the normal troll bullshit.
 
I recall an earlier announcement that not talking about bans created more drama than giving a brief explanation. Thus it is usual that a mod will give some indication for the reasons behind an involuntary departure. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask when there is no announcement, though equally the "Ask the Moderators" form doe provide some additional discretion.

And I've always enjoyed Corny's irreverence. It's not the same thing as disrespect.
