Excellent episode ending with Karen being run over. I was laughing in a 'Regan from The Exorcist' kind of way.

Also was touched by the talk Debbie had with Sheila. Good writing and acting.

I felt the pain along with Ian on that couch. It's a story that's played out thousands of times over in the real world.

And 1 more unemployed gay person...so much for looking out for your own!

You realize that gay is not a race, it's a sexuality. You are essentially saying "hey, lets discriminate" blacks need to play blacks, whites need to play whites, girls need to play girls, guys need to play guys, gays need to play gays, etc. how about who ever is good in the role play the part. Sorry Neil, you are an amazing actor, but you came out as a gay man and your role is a straight man, sorry but you're fired. We need to hire someone straight for this straight role.

You didn't feel that the gay jokes were old and offensive? They insulted me.

I thought it was a good episode mostly except for that. You could tell Mickey was touched but steel in his rejection because of his asshole father. I liked the mowing down of Karen. I thought she would call her under the bridge and knife her or something. That she's still alive is a pia.

The Debbie part is well written and played perfectly.

You have to look at who was saying the gay jokes...a bunch of degenerate, old drunks...they were meant to be old and offensive.

The Bible thumper "converter" playing "Sexual Healing" for Frank and the lesbian. :rotflmao:

So painful to watch Ian crying after the incident with Mickey :( The beating part is just too much :(

SPOILERS

Some hilarious lines at the start tonight. "Do not let her bone you. That oxytocin stuff is like adhesive." lol

Then

Wow, shit just go real.

Awesome episode. I literally gasped in delight when Mickey grabbed Ian and kissed him. I hope Fiona gets with that HOT as FUCK boss of hers. Jimmy was dead weight (oops) anyway.

^ Absolutely. A LOT more.

Thanks for the screen caps, sdrival

The writers have so many options for next season; I can't wait. This finale made me cry, Sheila in particular.

I felt so bad for Sheila, mickey, and lip. Lip cause when you think about it ian kind of screwed him at the last second.

I don't cry much, but the season final left me in tears - poor Ian and Mickey, really don't want to wait till next year!

Oh my God...I didn't even think about Ian using Lip's ID and what that means for Lip and MIT.

I had tears flowing for most of the episode...that scene with Carl and Frank in the hospital got me....and Mickey

Exactly I'm thinking ian will get kicked out of the service next season because of that. I must admit this episode made me cry a lot.hell even the scene with Karen was heartache.which is weird for me cause I am a mandy fan.i got to say I do like that the writers gave more to Debbie and Carl this year.and both those young actors knocked it out of the ballpark.mickey last scene made me cry the most.it was perfectly played by all actors involved. Noel fisher is easily one of the best choices they could've made when casting.

Me too. it's so depressing. I was really hoping Mickey would have stopped Ian or smth. When Mickey cried I was like :( :(
Oh Gawd I can't wait for next season to see what's going to happen to Ian. Have to wait a year erghh!!!!!

Awesome final. Love this show.

I'm going to have to vent, in general, about this constant beating gay people over the head with the message that it's all doom and gloom. It won't work out. You're all hopeless.

I'm really sick of this. Give us a break. This is Showtime. You could've let Mickey and Ian win the lottery, move-in together and live happily ever after. But to be fair, it really isn't that kind of show. That would've been totally out of character for any of them.

I didn't even think about the consequences of Ian using Lip's ID. Wow.
Sheila cracks me up. The sex toy "Tupperware" party.

I'm a bit tired of Lip's attitude and lack of motivation, or rather "I'm above being anything but a piece of shit." I do understand that he was born into that crap, though.

They sent a lot of characters packing. I like that Fiona got some money and a job.

Probably because we've gotten to know the characters really well by now but I think this was the best season so far.

^ Good point, dougmc92. I can see where str8s have their expectations set way too high by movies and tv.

So the Gallagher’s are in shambles and we can hope for some new characters next year which will be good. With Ian gone for a while maybe for good we probably have seen the last of Mickey as well; no loss there.
I think the best part of all this is Fiona, that girl has been the rock of the family only to get kicked in the teeth time and time again so it is good to finally see her get a break with the new job courtesy of Jimmy’s gift and hopefully with Jimmy assumingly gone she can get something going with supervisor Mike.

It will be a long year till we see all of them again but the upside is that with Shameless gone we get Nurse Jackie back another great show with the outstanding Edie Falco; and who can get too much of Peter Facinelli ;)

Good ending. Be interesting to see the direction they take next year.

I started watching Shameless UK since it was on Netflix Streaming. I have to say this show is more entertaining. Already on Season 6.

That does suck...but I was hating his storyline last season.
