I recently watched an episode of the TV show Shameless and it truly lives up to it name. Well written, interesting, good looking cast, truly a must see.

Fiona's boss (thanks for posting them) is the only reason to watch now.
With Steve gone and presumed dead, Lip at college and Ian in the military, the family dynamic that made the show so great is gone.
I could not believe how a show that was soooooo good for 3 seasons could turn on a dime and become awful. We're taking it on a week by week basis, and removing it from the DVR cycle is an option.

I'm still watching it, and still loving it. I have to admit this season has taken on a more depressing tone. No storyline seems to be happy at this point. And as much as I hate Frank seeing Carl fighting for him to live is hard to watch. I'm also really missing Ian who is rumored to not come back until around episode 8 or so. Hopefully they can pick it up a bit. Meanwhile, Mike's ass is a great distraction.

Frank is as disgusting and self absorbed as ever using Carl to get his alcohol and drugs. The father to son information about masturbating is nauseaous, to say the least and Frank's appearance is hard to look upon. Fiona's romance is going south again and I am pretty sure she will get all hot and bothered by her bosses' bro. Lipp is in college and is as blank about his reasons for being there as he was about going last season.

I miss Ian, too. Debbie is having an affair with a 20 yo and she is 13. The triplets is a hoot, and mama is having a baby too.

Indeed, he is...but come on--what the hell, Fiona?! It's like she can't let herself be happy for too long. Back when Jimmy was around, she started getting pissy about him becoming overly domesticated. And, now, she's busting headboards with her boyfriend's (admittedly super-hot) bro.

On a side note, can we please hurry up and discover that Mickey isn't the father of his hooker wife's baby? I know we just did that with Karen and Lip--but do we really need another obstacle between Mickey and Ian?

I still love this show and despite the ludicrous triplet storyline (seriously, why triplets??) I think this season has been pretty damn good. Fiona's boss and his brother are great eye candy, I like that Debbie is getting some progression and I really, really hate Frank which means the show is doing it's job.

I didn't like the first few episodes this season but it really got so much better in the last few. When Fiona's bf's brother said "addict" on the phone and she walked by her pathetic dad in his bed. The look on her face, wow. Good drama. She realized she wasn't that different. Like he said, "Everyone's addicted to something."

The story line between Frank and his older daughter turned out far more interesting than I thought it would be.

I need poor Sheila to come clean for me. ha "I'm gonna make this kitchen my BITCH!"

From a personal feeling I hated to see Fiona sucking face and throwing her legs in the air so easily. I guess I just fucking hope someone in that family rises above the sewer that is their father. It's the nasty edge the show feeds off of and the personalities that make you love them or hate them, and sometimes even forgive them, and pray that your life never comes to that. I have a tendency to forgive Fiona anything because she is so responsible (most of the time) with those kids. I wonder how she will ever find her life outside the squalor. Ian please come back to our fantasies.

i must admit though to me the storylines this season are exactly where they need to be.i feel so bad for mickey this season.
