Here's a song I never heard before today. The lyrics seem ironic, as in it's about someone who's had an easy life, but somehow it's wrong for him. What I could find out is that Richard Hawley is an English singer, and this song came from a movie "See How They Run." Maybe the movie would make the lyrics clearer.

The Motels were a New Wave 80s band with a 50s retro vibe. When I listen to their music, I think they should have been much bigger.
