Share your earworms here [Music]

Re: Share your earworms here

When I woke up this morning:

Now it's more like:

yet again or, rather, still, after the above interlude

Re: Share your earworms here

When you scroll past that quickly it looks like they are all pissing.

Which mean they look like they are all males because, back then, implants were not considered natural tits.

Re: Share your earworms here

How in the hell did this get stuck in my head today?

It's crazy, some of the stuff that goes on inside that cranium.

One of the MANY heard-only-in-Detroit records in the middle Sixties. There was a HELL of a lot going on there besides just Motown.

And only a couple hours after this very dissimilar earworm:

An occasional earworm, but HOLY SMOKES, I wanted to hear it so I went to YouTube...The Unrelated Segments...one of the comments blew me away. This was on the radio in Detroit in 1966, and I've loved the song ever since. Detroit-suburbs group. THE LEAD GUY IN THIS BAND WAS ONLY 14!!!! Savage, blistering genuine Garage Music. Actually, don't even "get me started" with Michigan stuff - I could go on with it almost forever, some really cool and wild stuff came outta there and there was a LOT more going on besides the huge Motown scene.

Why the heck not? I'll share a couple more cool Michigan links after this first one which was the earworm.

ALL of these below records (in original form) are quite valuable, in the $100 to $500 range (each) - Psychotics perhaps $1,000!

Re: Share your earworms here

And a few more Michigan RARITIES, again "triple digit" stuff...I kind of, uh, dare you to try these out...are you tempted??
Fenton label was from Sparta [Grand Rapids] and there are incredible amounts of unthinkably rare stuff on it.
RENAISSANCE FAIR: The story I heard is that these guys got drunk, and tried to see how loud they could possibly get. This is probably the wildest "Yooper" record I know of, from Marquette. Wicked guitar solo.

This isn't as rare, only because they don't picture the issue on its original Flint label (Coconut Groove)...

Re: Share your earworms here

Are you sure you guys know what ear worms are?

Re: Share your earworms here

Maybe because I am ging to sleep (hopefully) now... I'll tell you whether it is still insie in the morning...

Yes. All in #221 were earworms this week, and so was the first one in #222, but after the first one in #222 I decided to share some Michigan gems...ALL EXCEPT Psychotics, MC5 *have* been earworms for me at some point. Some earworms can make you think that maybe the best remedy is a lobotomy, lol.

"Dandelion" (in #221) and Pizzicato Five have been known to stick-in-my-head for days at a time.
