Share your earworms here [Music]

You people have been brainshitted by the postwar, post-LSDiberation workshop  when someone opts for posting some real music sometime, he soon goes afterwards: "no heavy metal tonight"

In the first place, I'm not quite sure what you're saying. The last couple of pieces I've posted are not heavy metal, but soul/R & B/funk. I listen to a soul radio program on Friday nights, so this is what you get.

Perhaps I'm taking the title of the thread, "Earworms," a bit too seriously. To me, earworms implies not necessarily pretty music, but music that sticks in your head. And once you've listened to either of these two songs, they will be with you all day.

Oh, that is what I say to Ali whenever he comments about my own earworms: I was merely saying that your brainshitting is different from mine, and most of the tunes I post do not have any pretense at sacred pop classics or shit like that

Mods! Clearly parole violations! ^ Send him back to prison with Bubba!

That was my second point: how can one be so receptive to that mess   I mean, how can you even detect a pattern to memorize and keep running it in a loop

This wonderful song has been in my mind for weeks.

I can't believe this recording is 45 years old! It still seems fresh.

^ It does not, I totally evokes 1980 (yeah, I know you said 1975/6) but, in whatever sense it is so, it is because our times are so final and rotten decadent, that it still trail their previous times as if they still were present, for want of a real fresh present.

I'm glad you remember this song. Carole King did a lot of wonderful songs, that made me happy, and put me in a good mood, just listening to them. Maybe I'll post some music of hers-- I bet even belamo and Vinnie would enjoy the music. It seems they had a problem being "schooled" in Old School funk the other night.

^ Some do have a problem being schooled in Western music by those "informed in" the musical value of its Old School funk pop subgenre
