Navigaytion was one of the hardest people to moderate - mainly because every thread was a gift and many of 'it's' responses slick.

I don't doubted that above. And I've never been looking for posts of intellectual deepness (die ein Krautländer wie ich in einer fremden Sprache womöglich eh nicht versteht) at JUBs.

My thesis in # 31 is and was a different one: if a majority - especially of those 10- or 20.000plus posters around - would have true writing skills, being journalists, authors etc. by profession: most of them would never spend so much time online in several communities & forums; writing often in 3, 4 or more threads in a row within seconds, proud of having reached 15.000, 30.000 or an even higher number of contributions...

Haha, JUB is not a writers guild of wannabe journalists, authors etc., it's a gay porn site. And the people posting in the Hot Topics forum are not interested in promoting their writing skills, they're just a group of like-minded individuals who want to digitally hang out together, socialize, express their opinions on various issues, share interests, etc. It's similar to going to a neighborhood bar where everyone knows each other, except they can do it with all the comforts of home.

And the more posts that are made, the more JUB's ranking increases on the websites that rate them, which ultimately results in more traffic to the site, new members joining, and higher advertising revenues. Thus, prolific posters are "proud" to be contributing to the success of JUB in this manner, since it ensures the longevity of the forums, etc.
