I hope no one takes offence, but I struggle with the shaved smooth aesthetic. I think it looks great on some and less great on some too. I have tried to do the smooth shave on my ball sack (just to determine the appeal) and I have nick'd my balls and bled, that wasn't pleasant. The other aspect is maintenance. I think I am hygienic, but the time and discipline that must be given to upkeep of the regime. I like the "wash, rinse and go" low maintenance style. I also was made uncomfortable by what I would call the 'prickles'. (When the stub hairs start to lengthen and poke; I felt I was walking around constantly adjusting for the hair pricking my balls and thighs). So the question I have for partakers of the smooth: How did you work around the "regrowth-itch" and the prioritization that grooming maintenance requires; even for those whose might not go full on 'baby-bottom' smooth and just trim (I enjoy the term 'manscape')?
My partner, who is naturally hirsute, AND was (pre-covid) a regularly performing drag-performer who 'manscaped' fingers, toes, and all the bits between. Let me tell you the water usage alone... Gentleman... when your trimming around the dingle-berries, do you continue to run water too?
Feedback, and discourse appreciated... Im not hating, just trying to better understand.
