Well, that's my situation: Some years ago I did something really stupid in my opinion, I shaved my ass, something that I really regret now.

Of course I have shaved not only once, so you can understand that the hairs are not soft or short. And here's my problem: I want to have normal hairs, not shaved, which as I suppose is not possibe, but I can't stay like this cause the hairs are, you know, thick and black and ugly. And if I shave the hairs will get thicker etc., generally worse.

So can someone tell me what's the best I can do? Any advice? Everything is welcome!!!
 
Waxing? I'm sure it'll hurt like hell... Any advice about waxing, then? Is there any specific brand that's best?

If I use waxing, what happens to the upcoming hairs? Are they going to be the same as the last ones?
 
Shaved hairs do not grow back thicker, that's an urban legend. They only do look a bit thicker at first, because the thin "tip" is missing. If you wax your ass (or use any of the chemical creams like nair) the hair is completely ripped out, and it will grow back with a thin tip.

Corny is correct. Ass hair is supposed to be thick and wiry. It's not the shaving that caused it to be. But shaving does make it pretty itchy and scratchy when it grows back in.

The only thing that will do what you're asking is laser. Laser will remove the hair at the follicle. Most of the time it doesn't grow back. If it does grow back, it will grow in thin and blonde.

Laser is expensive and it hurts a bit.

The next best option is professional waxing. It's not painless and your skin will be a little raw for a couple of days afterward but you won't have the bristle consistency and it does take a little while for the hair follicle to regenerate new hair.
