Why would it be odd that a Harvard grad would go to Trinity UCC?
I seldom use wikipedia as a source but it was a fast way of getting Dr Wright's credentials:

Dr. Wright should be educated enough to know that the government did not invent the AIDS virus and put drugs on American streets. I suppose that one has to conclude that Wright used these allegations to further a sense of victimization in his audience. That's not admirable.
