There are divas who surround themselves with 'yes people', and divas who are perfectionists - Shirley is one of the latter.

At a Royal Command performance at the Palladium we had TV's outside at the Stage Door entrance so that people could watch the dress rehearsal. We had to turn them off due to an onstage outburst from her towards the musical director.

However, after the performance she made a point of personally thanking everyone for their parts in making sure the performance went as well as it did.

Give me her and Babs anyday - and keep your Celines and Mariahs!

I'd have to agree -

I never get good feelings when i see Celine - and I think when you get to the caliber of these "stars" - Babs - especiallly - you have "issues" - many of them unresolved - but that doesn't mean that they don't bring happiness to their fans --

I remember her from the early Bond movies - - just amazing !

I only know her from this song. It's from a really good Gay CD. I heard the Original too and it was okay. I live her cover much better. She does have a nice voice too. I had no idea she did other stuff :O
