If the dog craps on the kitchen floor and you step in it smashing into the floor do you leave it or maybe clean it and sanitize the floor?.

The OP wasn't talk about shit but presumably cum. But yeah it's basic. Just clean up after with a towel. If you get some on the sheets dry it the best you can at the time and then do laundry in the days following. I am reminded of a line from British QAF where Nathan's mum is talking with someone about all the loads of laundry she has to do: "It's all bed sheets - I had forgotten how much teenage boys masturbate..." Same idea...cum happens.
 
The OP seemed to be talking about a separate towel or something to fuck on to avoid having to unmake the bed to change the sheets. And I don't think he meant only cum. We use something like that if it's going to be messy.
