Shock! Rachel Maddow Covers Up Her Error

No... there's none of that angst and depression that you got from people like that "Chance" guy a couple years ago or the string of gay-baiting and "normal people are better you" baggage you get from guys like Sultan.

These guys in this forum just give a string of wing-nut talking points without ever saying anything "gay."

I mean, Sultan can be hard to take but at least he does make his internalized homophobia pretty front and center.

True dat. ..|

"Chance" was supposedly pretty ok offline according to Alfie. I never cared to get to know him myself. Sultan.... well let's just say: ](*,)

Maddow's credibility far exceeds that of any other cable news personality. It's going to require much more than this pathetic attempt to taker her down.

Here's the wiki link about Ms. Maddow:

Holy Cow, she's been festooned with awards!

She's done more for gays and lesbians than any Republican or right-wing journalist has ever done. Every gay person owes her a debt of gratitude to her for giving visibility to our community like no gay person has ever done before. She's smashed stereotypes.

Thanks Rachel! Everyone here at JUB owes you!

Jack Springer, thanks for bringing up her name and letting us talk about her and her accomplishments. The more her name is brought up, the more people are aware of her.

Yup! She didn't wait until she had her own show, was famous in her own right, or whatever to come out. No, she was the first openly gay Rhodes Scholar and has been open her entire life. That as opposed to Republicans who come out only after being exposed or when they have a paycheck to gain from it.

She just doesn't know math.

Do you think she can see Russia from her house?

She sure knows a lot. Are you a Rhodes Scholar? What's your level of education? A high school graduate? Did you get your GED?

Here's the Republican leader and some of her famous quotes:

Nothing short of brilliant, she is!

There has been so much said in CE&P about how how Maddow is such a great host. Honest, above reproach, etc.

I just happened to come across this (I didn't look for any more).

You'll have to look at both short vids. The first one is her making the same error in math as Gov. Christie, the second one is the sanitized MSNBC version that didn't air but is in their archives.

Have fun with it guys. Rachel the man/woman of MSNBC does make errors even while she is acting cocky making fun of other people, which by-the-way is her real brand of journalism.

PS: Don't counter with all the mistakes that O'Reilly, Beck and other others make . . . . I don't watch them very often either.

Neither the Gov's mistake nor Maddow's mistake are really math mistakes.

It is not clear as to how the Gov made his mistake. He may have just misspoke.

Maddow's mistake seems more clear. She transposed the numbers 2.2 and 3. One is right, the other wrong. Maddow clearly misspoke.

But Maddow shouldn't have pointed this out about the Gov, as it makes her seem a bit petty.

She is still a Goddess though and I love her.

She makes me want to wretch with her arrogance. She is utterly dumb but thinks that she could be President of the USA. ](*,)

Lol! Rachel Maddow is on the same time here in Arizona as Sean Hannity. Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar that went to Stanford and has her doctorate from Oxford while Hannity is a college drop out.

I'm sure I know which one knows how to conduct research.

Not a fan of either -- but I'd bet Hannity is making much more money than Maddow.

Wow, you are despicable. Rachel Maddow is a proud and openly lesbian woman. Calling her a man is an insult to all of us who have had our gender and sexual orientation demonized.

No more personal insults toward your fellow posters, gentlemen.

I don't see that she made an error at all. It looked to me like she was doing a little mockery of the governor.

My guess is they did another take because it wasn't clear that she was mocking -- or because the producer decided the mockery wasn't a good thing (or both).
