okay, she had a baby. She is dealing with a rush of hormones that affect her demeanor. Most women have highs and lows dealing with all that right when they are pregnant and after delivery.

So don't try to deal with the logically. Apologize - not because you are wrong - but because it isn't worth it to prove that you were right.

and then be done with this issue.
