you're a model? who's asking if he's ugly? dude, seriously. clearly your agent doesn't think it's a good idea, if she's looking to forbid it next contract. and also, you never get SURGERY because you think "no one seems to want you." plastic surgery should only be if YOU personally think that there is something about the way you look that doesn't match up with how you perceive yourself.

Personally, I hate my nose. Its normal and people think I'm crazy for considering plastic surgery, but I feel that it will make me look way better.

I'm considering plastic surgery myself which hopefully will be done in a few years ahead. It's up to you, do whatever makes you happy. It's your face, and it's something you have to live with until you die. From looking at your display picture I can see why you want a lip reduction. It's not huge or anything. I look at your other picture that you have in your profile and your lips look normal. Maybe you were just pouting in your display? As for your nose, I can't say much, it's too blurry for me to tell. Get it done if it affects your self-esteem.

IMHO, you have to do this for you and nobody else. The history with your anorexia is a red flag, and clearly you have some self-esteem issues. Use the money and get some counseling for the root of your problems rather than getting something permanent and superficial!

Plastic surgery doesn't solve anything, and chances are, if you think that people think you're ugly now, you'll be just as self conscious of that feeling (if not more) after you get the procedure done because you'll be rying to second-guess what people think.

if I had a modelling contract I wouldn't be looking at changing anything. Whatever characteristics you have make you unique, they make you 'you' if that makes much sense, and without trying to sound cliche they have clearly served you well.

Don't let the timeframe of the contract scare you into making a quick decision. Situations and priorities change. From what you have written you might be better off giving it some more thought and if down the track thats what you want, then go for it (imho). But if you think a few external changes are gonna make a heap of difference to what your feeling on the inside, chances are you're in for a surprise.

Go out, have a few drinks, have some fun, make out with whoever you feel like, and leave thoughts of plastic surgery for another time. PS... don't think you need it in the slightest.

I saw your 2nd pic in your Profile...Have you really thought about how you would look with "thinner" Lips? Your Nose & Lips look fine to the average person but you're your own critic...

I just don't think reducing your lips is going to look right..

I would becareful with the nose surgery. I am myself planning on having one, but not a major change, just want to make it look the way it was 5 years ago, and my nose has changed a lot! lol

Anyway. You may want to research the person you are getting your surgery from and maybe you can find people who had it and see if they like the results that they had. Now, I saw your photo (not sure if it is you, but I assume that would be you) and you are really cute, and your nose is cute. I think you shouldn't changed it. I think it's because there is a lot of things in your mind and how you see things and not how you see your-self? I cant speak for you, but that is my guest.

A few quick words: You need to learn to accept yourself before worrying about what others may think of you. How can others accept you, if you don't? Personally I think you look quite handsome just as you are. But my opinion doesn't really count (just as no one else's opinion counts). You have to like yourself for who you are, and that isn't going to come from any amount of cutting. I would recommend seeking the help of a professional therapist. You may also need to consider the possibility that modeling isn't for you, if that is where all this beauty pressure is coming from. This is probably not what you want to hear, but based on what you posted here and in other threads, it might be what you need.

What planet are you on? Men are like men, whether straight or gay... DUH....

If you want to attract a woman, being too pretty is not an advantage; they have other criteria and are not as visually oriented as men.

Men on the other hand, whether gay or not, are more visually orientated and to attract one, it helps to look good.

I'd personally not do it. If your agency are saying they may not renew your contract it's not worth doing it. There is always the risk they could just get rid of you, the end of the day sounds like you have body image issues which need to be sorted.

I am a model, However my agency will stand behind personal decisions and determine if they want to renew my contract after they see what I look like. My boos however says that in my next contract, Which i sign next month she will forbid any plastic surgery and had she known she would have excluded it from my first contract. So I have to make this decision now.
