You do look great and your hair is fierce, but if you’re thinking about highlights, why not?
The real person inside shouldn’t change---and some people will like you for who you are while others won’t. That’s the way it is, but it’s OK—you can only be true to yourself.
If experimenting with hair color is something you’re thinking about, you’ll never know if you like it until you do it. It may make you feel better about yourself, and if it does, that go for it!
And you’re not necessarily subscribing to the gay stereotype if you are doing it for yourself.
I get my hair colored every 5-6 weeks. My stylist mentioned it a while back for me to consider and I gave it a try. I love it and am happy he made the recommendation. But, I do it for me!
We repaint our walls, change our floors/floor coverings, remodel our kitchens & baths, so why can’t we do something along those lines to ourselves? New clothes, a new hairstyle, and other enhancements are sort of like remodeling ourselves.
