There's so much to say here I don't know where to begin.

What numbers are you looking for? If 80% of people want you to leave, should you? How about 50%? 25%? 10%? What if you don't get many votes either way - would that mean you're not making the impact you want? Would that make you more or less likely to stick around?

And why are you leaving this in our hands? Isn't it something you need to decide for yourself? This isn't Survivor.

And even if everybody votes "yes", should you leave just because a bunch of pixels on a computer screen indicate that several anonymous homos don't like you?

You've answered your own question.

I think the misanthropic, anxious, perpetually angry AndrewD should leave for good.

The AndrewD who balances his meds and diet, gets enough sleep and is as interested in other people's opinions as he is in trying to demonstrate the superiority and infallibility of his own, should stay.

Both of them should get professional counselling to deal with the unresolved hurt and rage, in order to go back out and live within the world instead of just viewing it two dimensionally.

I think the site gives and takes from you.

It's not very mentally healthy, with the encouraged close-mindedness around here. But it does provide entertainment.

I don't plan on staying an active member for much longer. Maybe just come in when I have a General Knowledge question or something.

Overall, I think it's probably best for everyone to stop coming to internet forums where there's a toxic environment or a place that sucks away at your soul. So for anyone's best interests I recommend leaving in hopes of finding a few decent people in the real world who add to one's life and aren't abusive.
