Why does it matter to you what anyone here thinks of you?

Although I shouldn't... because this is just another "grab the attention" thread and I learned better in Detecting Troll Moves 103, Chapter 7: The Art Of Sympathy is the Act of Kamikaze...

To answer you in the "god" thread where you presented this question to me, no, your leaving would not make me feel better - it wouldn't make me feel anything, because I don't feel anything towards you; I don't know you. You don't make me uncomfortable, you just make me not want to discuss things with you - you're pathological, you're rude when backed into a corner, you take things into an ethereal head space and run with them(most notably music and it's supposed ties to the illuminati), you choose sides rather than offer opinions, you have a habit now of answering a question with a question in the hopes of annoying someone, and you pick topics that you hope are controversy magnets and then hop on those you don't like in an effort to try and seem superior or at least, in your mind, right.

Now some of this is people giving you more attention than you rightfully deserve, and that includes me. I'm nothing if not flawed as fuck and i'll be first to admit. Too bad you don't note that quality in yourself.

So, in short. Stay. Go. I no longer care.

It matters because if I'm wasting my time and no one wants to hear my thoughts then I will save us all the time and just take them elsewhere. I'm tired of being called a troll because I post about hot topics.

This is the internet. People post thoughts that no one wants to hear all the time.

I don't think your a troll. I just think some people out there are haters.

Plus I think GiancarloC is going through a rough time right now and people lash out when under stress.

For what it's worth, you don't bother me. But then again, it takes A LOT to bother me.

It's not that. It's the fact that you rarely want to hear OUR thoughts.

You seem to do your best to cause hostility. People call you a troll because that's what a troll does. You don't post topics for debate or discussion. You post them for confrontation.

And seriously, it's in very, very poor taste to post private messages. That's the whole idea behind them being 'private'. JUB tends to frown on such behaviour. Again, doing so is meant to cause confrontation. If you have a problem with the message, you pass it along to the MODs. You don't put it 'out there' for everyone to see and make a spectacle of it.

That, sir, is what trolls like to do.

If the shoe fits...

okay, i'll keep it 100 with you for a second because i can relate to you on this because sometimes i feel like quitting this shit too.

how long have you been on internet forums, man? not to give a autobio about my e-career but i've been posting on web forums since nov. 2000 on aka.com hip hop forums when i was 14 years old. i was one of those keystyle rappers where i was a young ambitious rapper in training. i remember posting on that site a couple of times and people didn't like me right off the bat. one dude actually dedicated a thread to me saying "anybody here besides me not feeling worldofslangz?" after a few other threads where i spit more raps and people started beefing with me, trying to run me off the forums and etc, the mods either banned me or i left that piece of shit place. i eventually went to another forum, sohh, and went through the same fucking bullshit. people in there didn't like me over there as well. they gave me a real hard time. the mods banned me for no reason so i came back. eventually, i was like fuck it and said whatever i wanted to say since it really didn't matter at that point. i pretty much stopped giving a fuck over the internet and that energy somewhat transferred offline to an extent. i still post there, go to other websites, say whatever, make e-nemies and e-friends and whatever.

i pretty much took what i learned from all the rejection i experienced on the internet and used that to build the person who i am today where i pretty much realize that no matter how i act, what i say or whatever, there will be people that love it and there will be people that hate it. you can't control other people think. haters gonna hate. you're not always going to get people to like your shit just like you're not always going to like other people's shit. there's times where i agree with you and times where i'm like "naw..... you wrong for that" but that's what comes with dealing with the interweb.

but the point is if you quit over here, don't do it because of somebody else. if you want to post here, do it for you. fuck everybody else. if you quit, haters win.

to me, i think this place needs someone like you because you actually bring something different to here than the norm. don't let a few people that don't agree with you and are trying to belittle you because of that shit make you delete your account.

I would like it if you stayed and found ways to express yourself more subtly.

So very true.

I appreciate your posts MiamiHorror (and refujiunderground too).

I love free speech and I abhor the conformity of the complacent, self-satisfied and patronising PC Brigade.

Meh.

Dont let anyone else's opinion push you in any freaking direction...

If you want advice for JUB then try two things.. first dont piss down MOD's legs.. they do it for either free or almost free and are really just trying to meet in the middle on most cases. So if they say it is shitty then it was shitty and dont do it.... easy day.

Second when you start feeling angry the majority of the time or JUB just makes you feel shitty then leave. Dont delete your account or make some public dramatic display... just leave .... and then come back later. Dramatic public displays say a lot more about the person doing it that the people they are trying to 'show up'.

If your lookin for a vote from me then stay but look at the two guidelines I follow above...

Keyboard Mentality........it's a sickness....... :help:

Some people are just more sick when hiding behind a keyboard.......

Gosh ... this is the first time I've noticed you on JUB! I guess I should be more observant.

You've been hare before as another avatar.

How did that work out for you?

What was your idea in returning?

What have you learned?

If you are happy here and intend on creating a positive and enjoyable experience for you and the other posters, then stay.

If not, then go.

But listen up. Giancarlo is at heart, a very good guy, passionate about the ideas and causes he believes in. He doesn't create drama threads or trolling threads just to see how much disruption and nastiness he can foment.

You've been hare before as another avatar.

Has he?

I swear I asked that question before, and was told by the OP himself that he's used the same name/incarnation all the time.

BOT:

All of us have our fans here, all of us have our critics. Understand that first. Afterwards, if you want to go, then go. If you want to stay, then stay. Until the owners pull the plug, the obvious truth is that JUB will exist with or without you (and indeed most of us, until critical mass is reached); your participation and what you take from your interactions here is entirely up to you.

^ I should have said hare (sic) here in another incarnation perhaps.

I would note, though, that there is a forum for religious topics. It is a bad idea to bring religion into the HT board because it is sure to generate the type of angry discussion that invariably leads to infractions and hard feelings.

This is particularly so when the thread topic is unanswerable, such as the one in question was, without creating and exploiting division by actually trying to argue the point.

So I would say that if the OP wishes to moot thread after thread in HT on topics related to religious beliefs, it will lead to more and more drama.

For personal reasons I shall express no opinion in this thread or on the question presented. I can live with the future. LM
