Should I switch back to boxers from boxer briefs?

Recently I switched from boxers to boxer briefs because i heard that they don't ride up as much as boxers and are also more comfortable.

Though after wearing boxer briefs for a week I can't say that i like them as they itch and i think that they ride up more than boxers...

Will I get used to this? or should i just go back to boxers?

Oddly enough, I'm trying out both types. I like the freedom of the boxers, but they can bunch up. And the boxer briefs can do the same as well, but you don't have the "commando" sense to them.

I'm undecided at the moment.

Sometimes it depends on what I'm doing - can't do karate in boxers, or it feels like I've put the twins through a washing machine; and I have a few pairs of slim-fitting dress pants whose lines are ruined completely by boxers.

I just go commando unless I'm in my uniform or dressing formally. Haven't worn underwear since my teens. I wear boxer briefs otherwise. Thats probably why my sack hangs down to my knees.

5. boxer briefs just seem like briefs with leg warmers to me so thats my winter replacement under really thin slacks.

6. buy a couple of cheapies at one of the discount stores and try them all...each individual guys' plumbing has its own unique needs or desires.

I've found my favorite kind of underwear that also double as yoga shorts for me, they're called "cycling shorts" I guess, at target. They're like boxer briefs but better material and I actually like the ones that go far down your leg because my biggest issue is chafing. I have huge thighs.

I hate boxers because they don't acknowledge the third dimension. Look at the stitching on the bottom. There's nothing to compensate for the fact you have a depth to your proportion. It's just one seam at the bottom, unlike awesome boxer briefs that have a third plane, something to accompany your uh, chode. I really hate boxers. And briefs.

I assume the cycling shorts you're buying there are the unpadded variety? I've never bought any at target, but all the ones I own have padding sewn in to keep all the bits comfy.

Also, all the ones I'm familiar with are spandex or some form of, and they do fit tight and don't ride up or move around on you .
