Where do you live? I figure you are gay but I've never heard of a gay brothel. Least where I live. So tell me, what part of the world are you from.
And please listen to the advice you got ^. A brothel is no place to meet the right guy for you friend.
Like the guy wrote above, just j/o until you are able to meet someone. No need to get any diseases and besides that.... you probably want to meet someone to be a mate with.

Think about it - Do you really want to just get fucked by some random person? Not knowing what he has, who he is... Personally, I don't believe I would ever have sex with someone I didn't care about. Other people do, but it seems too personal to me.​
 
okay.

1. be sure it's a gay brothel (ie find as much info about it as you can). if you get ANY contradictory info, find someplace else.

2. if you do go, be upfront about what you want. (you said you are shy, so it'll be wierd to say what you want, but you'll thank yourself for it later).

3. be as clear as you can about how much $$$ you're going to spend to yourself and to the guy. don't leave anything until "later on".

4. be sure that you understand it's ONLY for sex and nothing else. no relationship, of any kind, will come out of it.

5. most important one: if you're younger than 25, then wait until you find the right guy before trying the brothel.

Some twelve years ago I was in exactly your same position, and I was a bit scared of the possibility that the people running that kind of business would somehow deceive me or even hurt me.
However, it turned out to be quite a good decision provided they are a real business willing to please the client like any serious business.
So my advice would be do a good research about those places before going to any of them, and if you have money and no prudish moral prejudices, as well as a bit of the common sense many people in this forum boast to posess (except with respect to paying for sex :rolleyes:) prepare to have the
time of your life.

It´s not running up against law, but having to fight the plain prejudice of the self-considered "good ordinary people" behind it what should worry you most.

Sure, he would have the opportuniy of getting laid with the first jerk who comes along and gets offended when he is rejected, scaring our shy JUBber for ages before he picks up the courage to try it again... supposing the scene doesn´t get really bad.
The guy just wants to have sex, but we know that it´s more complicated than that with all the mental games of the "real good people" going for a cheap easy fuck at the price of a drink. For a good service IN ANYTHING you always seek trusting responsible, professional people, and if you have special requirements in sex you contact a escort agency. All the usual pseudo-arguments against it are either the source of mere ignorance and prejudice or/and impotence for not being able to afford it.
 
K, so we do not know, where do you come from.

But a gay brothel as such is not likely to be a fully legal business in the US, to the best of my knowledge.

Why would you start with a gay brothel? I mean, there is no one to stop you from going to any such place, if you choose to in the end. Wouldn't you rather start by hitting a cruisy bar in the 'hood. Or hitting a popular gay spa and meeting up someone?

Should all of that fail, there are good escorts out there and you can pick and choose for your cash.

I mean, it is obvious, you want some quick sex. No one should tell you that you are not entitled to it and that you should not enjoy it. But you also want to learn how to get there without breaking the law and without burning a hole in your pocket.

So, try 1, try 2 and try 3 and if all fails, you can still hit that 'brothel place' of yours. That one won't run away...
