Should Michael Steele resign?

The man seems incompetent and with this latest "expenditure" scandal hitting the RNC, seems like some are calling for his head.

I dont know why he was picked in the first place... b/c he's black? Either way, it seems like the Repubs could use a better chairman anyway.

The Republican Party won the governorships last year in New Jersey and Virginia.

And the party won the Massachusetts Senate seat, in a special Jan. 19, 2010 election, that was for the seat formerly occupied by Edward Kennedy (who died last August).

Why go?

Michael Steele is well-worthy of his party.

here is a thought

what if in nov the repubs regain the house and gain 5 seats in the senate (i dont necessarily believe that) and steele is still the RNC chair

would he be hailed as a sharp repub leader?

of course.....but then again....we as a country are known for ridiculous correlations

He should stay. I believe he is doing a FANTASTIC job for the Democratic Party! (He is Chairman of the Democratic Party, right?) All I know is that Democrats are looking great right now (despite themselves!) and he has helped tremendously...Why fire him?

For the good of the Republican Party he should resign. I don't agree with republicans most of the time, but I think it's in the best interest of the country as a whole that they move further away from the fear based rhetoric that a lot of their constituents and party leaders espouse. Maybe a strong party chairman with REAL power could accomplish that. Michael Steele is just... somethun wrong wit dat boy.
