The Nobel Foundation offers prizes each year in 6 different categories: chemistry, economics, literature, peace, physics, and physiology or medicine.

Donald Trump qualifications:

Chemistry - The only thing he probably knows about chemistry is that helium makes you talk funny.
Economics - He knows how to send companies and his own businesses into bankruptcy. Does that count?
Literature - Have you read his Tweets? Nope. No literary ability.
Peace - Way to much hatred and anger to be a peacemaker.
Physics - The only stars he knows anything about are people like Kanye West and Ted Nugent, and that's only because they like him.
Physiology (that's a laugh!!) or Medicine - The man is a heart attack waiting to happen.

Nope. The man is not Nobel material.

Is Kim Jung-Un REALLY STUPID ENOUGH to go into an agreement with the USA, if "we" can just capriciously walk away from any other agreements that we have ever made? I give him more credit than that.

Any country can just capriciously walk away from any agreements they make. Frankly I don't think NK is all that interested in much getting more cash for their failing economy.

I would point out that violating the Iran Treaty likely has cost Trump any remote chance of getting a Peace Prize.

What is hilarious is that the Rep who led the nomination was defeated in his Seante Primary race yesterday.

And since he resigned his seat to run...he won't have a job come November.

What is the Nobel Peace Prize really worth? I've done some research (Nobelprize.org) and it seems that many of the winners peace efforts have ended in failure. Actually, I think Trump has had everything to do with the events in Korea. "Little Rocket Man" was the one threatening war with all those missile launches and now maybe he has found a world leader in Trump who isn't intimidated by him. Bullies don't like to be bullied back. If what we are seeing from NK is legit, that is great for the world, right?

But I'm not getting my hopes up. A brutal murdering dictator just doesn't change his ways so quickly. I'm skeptical and worried that NK has evil intentions hiding up its sleeves. They could be playing us for a bunch of suckers. But I guess we'll wait for the Singapore Summit in a month. But would anyone be surprised if it didn't even take place?
 
Anyone can nominate anyone. I know a person who was nominated. That's how low and easy it is.
