I can't be the only one devoted to his dogs out there.

Molly's out and about, I'll see about getting a picture later. She's growing up so well <3. Not an adult yet, but getting there. I'll see about getting Flamel, Ron and Malfoy as well. Malfoy is fairly new, he's a black cat we picked up from the aspca, he's about a year and a half old, but I'm guessing a bit there. Bit dim, he reminds me of the quintessential 'friendly jock' stereotype, he's a lovable bugger.

Here are my 2 dogs. Their mom was a pure beagle. But she got out of the yard. The woman I got them from swore up and down it must have been the Pomeranian next door. Do they look like they had a Pomeranian father to you?

And here is one of 5 tarantulas I have.

The tarantulas are still young and are not mature yet. They still have a lot of growing to do. Their mom was bigger than my hand, so...

Meet Schwa. He's nineteen years old, and probably won't be around much longer. He's lost almost all his teeth, he has kidney issues, and he has a cancerous growth growing slowly in his soft tissue. But he's surprisingly active for all that, and he's still my little snuggler.

Yeah, my dog Halford is 15. Many members of JUB who remember me from 2004 remember when I was posting pictures of him when he was a puppy. He's still in great shape but he's 15. So hearing and eyesight are fading and he needs to be picked up to get into bed.

Due to his health issues, Schwa's bathroom habits are...sketchy. I have to keep a litter box in the hallway, which he uses about 90% of the time. But he's been party of my family for long enough that I'm willing to deal with that sort of thing...

Yeah, my dog Halford is 15. Many members of JUB who remember me from 2004 remember when I was posting pictures of him when he was a puppy. He's still in great shape but he's 15. So hearing and eyesight are fading and he needs to be picked up to get into bed.

Both of my dogs are 13 about to turn 14. If you look at them directly in their eyes, you can see that they are hazy. The male is starting to show signs of his age. Whenever the weather changes rapidly from hot to cold, he would yelp all day from his arthritis. He is getting thinner and thinner even though he is still eating very well.

On the contrary, the female is getting fatter and fatter, though.

They both still act like puppies when they can. Still as playful as ever. I regularly take them to dog parks and parks where there are no one around so I can let them roam around without a leash. They would run around, sniffing everything, etc.

I had a Staffie called Mayson for 6 years, i was pretty cut up when he died following a fit a few months ago. There is a picture of him somewhere on JUB.

Chiki and Amy, father and daughter. 2 friends of us have the rest of the family, the wife and the son And talking about animals, our hamster died yesterday, that poor thing.

We had 2 cats, also father and daughter, he died 2 years ago at 24-25 or so, and she died last year at around 23 years old.

23-25 are ripe old ages for cats. That's the problem with having pets. They always die before we do.

Tell me about it. One of ours has decided that going two floors to the box in the night is TOO LONG a trip.

Two FLOORS? The litter box is literally fifteen FEET from where Schwa sleeps, and he still doesn't always get there.

aaggii, to what do you attribute thje longevity of your cats? We've had lots of cats, and they don't love longer than about 15 years. Are yours indoor or outdoor cats? What and how do you feed them? Do they get much vet care?

My last two cats lived to 18 & 19 yrs old
Dogs rarely survive beyond 10, some breeds a lot less

The first thing I do with every cat I have had is train it to go outside. I can't abide litter trays in the house

Good luck and good care, I guess. The mother and the other 4 brothers lived from 8 to 14 years, but these two wanted to stay around a bit more. They ate cat food and sometimes left-overs, as long as they weren´t harmful for the cats. What else... medical care up to the point where the doctor said that the animals were healthy and there wasn´t much to do for them anymore, but let them live until they´re gone. They were my husbands´, I was a part of their life only for a few years, though.

They are so cute. How do I get one?
