I used to sit in the bath till my fingers went wrinkly. But nowadays showering is best.

I can't imagine having bath anymore, especially knowing that having a bath may mean being in a soup ,or rather thin broth, of unwipeable poop remains and dead skin cells.

People don't have time for a bath these days, i only have the option of a shower in my bathroom.

One thing that does annoy me now im all grown up is how i dont fit into baths anymore.

If they made them bigger for people who arent rich, them more people would hop in.

Shower most of the time.....

I only like a bath when I feel like soaking...

The one thing that always bothered me about baths is that you soak in the dirt that you wash off your body.....

Definitely a shower. Showers are quick and convenient and I'm always in a hurry in the mornings so no time to run the bath, wash, drain out the water and clean the tub.

A friend of mine used to take a book and a pot of tea with him when he had a bath. That was in our student days. I doubt even he does that anymore lol.

Shower mostly. Bathing now is never about getting clean - I always shower after a bath.

But once a week, or so, I love a nice hot bath in epsom salts and a glass or three of scotch.

Showering is definitely preferable for all the reasons already mentioned. Though I do wish I had a more elaborate shower set-up. Like, perhaps, multiple showerheads spraying from different directions, or a steam-shower option.

it always seems like you're just sitting in your own filth (unless you shower and *then* bathe, but wtf would the point of that be?)

oh, you should go to japan sometime. they clean themselves first outside the bathtub, then relax in the heated bathtub. its divine.

but im a shower-guy myself. i currently dont even have a bathtub.

One hour + hot bath + coffee + trashy serial-killer crime novel + Thursday night post-karate soreness + inflatable bath-pillow = win.

I'm also a fan of waking up half an hour earlier than I need to if I have to bath in the morning and then napping in the bath for the half-hour.

I'm not a fan of baths and I'd be just fine living without one. I only take one when I need to soak due to achiness.

The idea of laying in the tub is kind of gross to me. Even if I cleaned out all the filth from previous showers, I would still be thinking about it. You can't get it all.

Shower is the best. Even better if you have company. You need someone to wash your back.

It came up in conversation at a party once and we got some funny looks from friends. They said stupid stuff like, "You can't bathe with someone else in there. How do you wash your hair!?"

One of the few times I had to drag a friends mind "into" the gutter during a casual conversation.

Shower. Bathing consumes too much time for the water filling and the cleaning after bath.

Plus my bathtub is broken :(

I agree...

Shower.

Although up to my mid-teens, it was ALWAYS a bath (on Sundays)

And a few days ago I DID take a bath again - but that was only because the shower fitting on the wall in my hotel room was missing. I'm not going to take a shower if it means having to constantly hold the thing in my hand all the time.

Showers. The only time I'd consider doing a bath is if it was like a romantic bubble bath in a jacuzzi with like champagne and a hot guy.
