Which shows do you think were taken off the air too soon and/or never received a proper series finale?

Mine are...







Although this one ran for eight seasons it didn't recieve a proper finale due to the 2008 writer's strike:

I remember Firefly. Sad that it got canceled before the first season was done.

I definitely agree firefly was gone too soon, I really liked that show. Below are some of the shows I felt were gone too soon.

And let's not forget EMPIRE's infamous series finale that never happened because of that nasty virus.



On the upside, since the Lyons are still alive, it's possible to bring it back.


Another one that springs to mind is the 90s cult hit AMERICAN GOTHIC.

I always enjoy watching Gary Cole playing a bastard.

The quirky teen soap POPULAR "ended" (unexpectedly) on a shocking cliffhanger.

How frustrating!
