Showtime's "United States of Tara"

Yeah it was very strange. I think that's probably the alter that wrote on her mural. Some people are saying the alter peeing on Tara's father might be revealing something about what happened to her to make her create these alters.
 
At first I thought the alter pissing was Buck,but when I watched it again,I noticed no glasses. I think this is a new alter that pissed on the dad and put the yuppie cunt message on the mural.

I love this show...I can't wait till Sunday to see the next one.

i wonder if that alter pissed on Marshall's bed too. but, it probably does have something to do with her father. her family is fucked up.

i am in love with this show. and i love John Corbett's character.

my only complaint is that the show should be an hour.
 
I agree I think the show should be longer. Only 30 minutes feels like a cheat.

Episode 10 was definitely the best yet.
 
I guess the way T went about it was unfortunate but what Kate said was right. T in her fucked up way was helping Marshall to see that Jason wasnt really gay, prolly only bicurious, and would never be his boyfriend. I know everyone loved that Jason kissed him back but it was obvious Jason wasnt gonna be with Marshall.

LOL. No ass, hopefully he can meet a real gay boy who he actually has things in common with. And he wont have to pretend to be into weird shit and trick him into kissing him when hes drunk. He can meet someone online, who isnt a pedophile, and is just another nerdy teen gay. Believe it or not this does happen. Especially nowadays. Things have changed so much from when I was in high school and it wasnt to long ago. They have plenty of other options for Marsh.

I have faith. So far the writers have been good with telling a sorta different but authentic story. They havent cleaved to all the gay cliches. Like how typical would it be that Marshall's girl friend, who is under utilized, to be in love with him? So far she seems to have no romantic interest in him and just wants him to choose someone right for him.
 
Is anyone else EXTREMELY creeped out by Kate's manager??

Oh wow, I didn't even put that together until just now. Marshall made a comment about him not wetting the bed in the last episode, but I completely forgot they'd actually showed it in the show earlier.
 
I'm so in love with this show I can't believe it's almost over...and again I feel like it should be an hour...half-hour seems lame.

Marshall is the best...I love the actor who plays him he reminds me of Snoopy.

The next season won't be until 2010 and I'm already dreading the season finale. :(
 
^The finale was good. But kinda bittersweet because it's over already. The only thing that would have made it more perfect is if Marshall had a little spark or something with the hot nurse who he called a "retarded Mark Harmon."

I love Charmaine's hot bf. He's gotta pretty cool personality for a guy she was attracted to merely for looks. I'm kinda pissed Charmaine clearly likes Neil more and is stringing him along. I was wondering what that miracle fruit is too. If you find out lemme know please.

When I saw Tripp's android Stepford wife I totally called it that Tripp was like gay/bi/ or into some alternative shit. Guys like that always marry these prudish, homemaker types that pretend not to notice their husband is gay. It was obvious that it wasnt gonna be some generic drunken sexual assault encounter. The wife's reaction to when T revealed that Tripp and his friend fucked each other was priceless.
 
Loved this series. My fave character is who else but Marshall. I thought the "Billie Holiday cure" was cute. Who would have thought he had it in him to burn down the shed and watch it. I think he will bounce back from Jason. Can't Wait for season 2.
 
Im thinking that they might have Jason resurface during season 2, possibly as 'outed'.

I also think, no, KNOW, that there will be at least 1 more Alter coming out per season, to try to keep it interesting, with the possible "death" of one or more of her personalities.

I'm just wondering how they are going to work Alice into the 2nd season.. she is definatly far more important to the plot of the show, and I'm also wondering what she is going to reveal.
 
My favorite alter is def Alice. Especially since she announced she in charge of the other alters.

I still can't believe we have to wait until 2010 for more episodes. :grrr:
