It was rather a SAD story n very disapointment... I think JUB will not be able to grow this fast without the gallery itself, it is an important element in JUB. N now, it is under revision. I love the JUB because of the forum n gallery, they are live! n everybody response well to each threat. I hope, they will make a wise decision n get the best solution to overcome this problem.

I regret to say that it is something very bad, gatopardo. Currently, all user galleries are suspended, meaning I can't really access them or update them. Seems it's a bit of a repeat of a problem (first being the complete removal of direct thumbs in the thread). I hope that it will work out in the end but it doesn't sound too promising.

The problem with that is the moving of all 144 guys. Last I checked, that was over 700 mb worth of content, excluding videos of course. That is just way too much work. Plus, I've build somewhat of a base here at Jub, it seems like a waste to up and leave without exploring other options first (that is if there are any). Though I'm pessimistic about the outcome of the gallery review, I guess I'm still waiting to see how it works out. But I may just have to resort to moving my shrine elsewhere. But the problem there is how am I supposed to find a place that allows for 700 mbs (so far anyway) worth of content?
 
Thanks gatopardo, but I already have a gmail account. Isn't the 2 gb thing for mail space only? That wouldn't really work out. I hardly use my gmail account so I'm not fluently familiar with all the capabilities. I mean how are you supposed to host galleries and pictures using gmail?

Regarding the copyright issue, well I don't know anything about copyright laws but it seems perfectly logical that you can copyright images. I mean everything you see in a picture has to be paid for and it only seems right that whoever paid for the picture to be possible to hold the rights to them. Though I think there's a difference between pictures that you have to pay for to see (at some specialty site) and the images that can be found readily available for free viewing. Most of the pictures in my albums I find from thumbnail posts so they were free to see to begin with. But I digress.

I'm still hoping for the best here at jub. :)
 
I wouldn't mind opening a yahoo or google group but I'm having a hard time with both. I like the features of the yahoo group but it's just not enough space to share all the pics in my collection. Google groups on the other hand do not have any features aside from saving the email attachments in the message. I prefer the yahoo groups because there I can create folders, separate messages from pics, alphabetize, basically do more there than the google groups. Does anyone know of a good gallery hosting site that allows for adult content (and is free)? Web hosting would be okay too though it would be a lot more maintenence. Feel free to send me a private message.

Well even before seeing all my images removed from my albums, I've decided on how to proceed next. I'm thinking of opening up a main yahoo group with an archive system through a google group. Meaning new guys will be featured on yahoo then the galleries will be deleted (since yahoo is limited in space) and moved to google (since I should have more space there). I will let everyone know when the groups are ready.
 
Fratellino76, guess you weren't around couple weeks back when the mods here announced they were taking measures to prevent and rectify the copyright abuse of the user gallery system. Accordingly, all the pics (except for those that were personal) were taken down. Thus, all of my pictures in my album are no more, least not on JUB. Refer to post 269 if you still want to see them.
 
I loved your galleries! The men were so hot! Everything was nicely organized and the images were so clear. Do you think it will ever be the same again? Did you have any of those images saved elsewhere?
