Not particularly good, but I assume it caught the zeitgeist of the times, hence its renown then and even now. I found it smug, self-satisfied and condescending. Interesting as a period piece, but hardly an essential film.

Question: what are the American movies of the late sixties and early seventies that portray the times ("they are a changin") and are any good?
