I had my first official outing today.
Went to my eye specialist today. Yes, I'm still mostly blind but it was the first time in over 14 months that I did not have to use a wheel chair to get around. After that my guy and I went to the grocery store. I had a few hiccups with my legs as I am not used to walking around so much, but it felt very liberating to be able to walk with very little assistance. Going to start working out again next week so my legs can get strong again. It has been a happy day.

I started working out on the treadmill again and next week I am adding the weight lifting. Feeling great but sometimes I forget that I can walk and become hesitant. I had another milestone yesterday. I went to the dentist alone. A friend had volunteer to take me but was not able to at the last minute. My guy could not take the time off from work at such short notice so he arranged for an Uber to pick me up and take me and then bring me back home. I was really nervous but I did it anyway. Got my TMJ fixed and it feels great today. By the way both Uber drivers were smoking hot.
