It is no longer necessarily an older person thing. I am surprised by how many albums (at least in the form of vinyl LPs) I see at Target these days. I've seen a lot of younger people browsing that section.

Of course, many will play those LPs on a record player bought from Target, which, being realistic, has the same level of quality in it as mass market cheap record players of the early 80s. As I recall, the sound quality of those cheap record players was a major reason why so many people embraced CD in the 80s.
