How do they wash their hair/head ?

My friend said they don't wash their hair.
I don't think it is true. But i think they wash once a week or less ?

Daily head/hair wash is a must for me.

I really question the motives behind asking such a [STRIKE]stupid[/STRIKE] question. But to reply to the question 'how often', most Sikh men wash their hair at least once or twice a week. Sikh women mostly daily. (well the ones that I know, do)

I love photographs of the langar! I have fond memories of many delicious meals eaten through the graces of kindly Sikhs. If anyone is ever near a Gurudwara they should definitely partake of the free fare. The Golden Temple kitchen is a great experience.

Of course they wash their hair!

The mandate is that they keep their hair covered and avoid cutting their hair.

When I was younger I was friends with a Sikh guy who wore a turban. One night when I was at his house he took it off and showed me how long his hair was; it literally curled up on the ground. But I had seen him without a turban before, like when we went swimming. And yes, they can swim with them on.
