It's funny because the station I listen to and used to work for blacklisted this song. People were calling in and complaining that they were saturating them with Beyonce.
Well, thats what happens when two mediocre songs are released at the same time and somehow become popular. One plays every 30 mins lol
 
That song/vid is so fvcking hypnotic. Bee is the best.

It was this specific song, if I recall correctly. They didn't blacklist her, just this song. They still played If I Were A Boy and At Last. But apparently those are more soothing? Who knows. I remember when they blacklisted Madonna. I miss those days. LOL
 
I think the song is just a poorly recycled version of get me bodied.

the problem with beyonce is that she just tries to hard to be original..

yeah, but when she tries she fails. like that fucking freddy kruger claw thing she has on. shes like almost copying michael jackson with the one glove thing. almsot Everyhting beyonces done has been a recycled version of somthing that came before her, weather its music or image

Like destinys child, they came out and did about everything TLC and The Supremes did before them.

I do like a few of Beyonces songs. i even bought Dangerously in Love when it came out, i still think its a killer album. but she just doesnt make me say wow, she doesnt capture my imagination. and Kanye west calling her an icon, and the performer of our generation, i dont think so...

Make it stop! Make it stooooooooooop! This is ridiculous. It was bad enough that Shane Mercado received so much publicity for doing a half-assed version of it. Ever since the video was released, everyone has done his or her own rendition of it.
