  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Sir Jean Luc Picard??

I knew him as Jean-Luc Picard long before I knew anything else about him - never even realised he was a famous actor or anything back then. I was TNG crazy back in the day. I'm glad he's been honoured.

So, he joins the prestigious ranks of colleagues Sir Ian McKellen, Dame Judi Dench, and Dame Helen Mirren. :king:

Actually, they make a top-class British foursome, they do. :=D:

Can't remember, however, what's been given to Sean Connery, Ewan McGregor, or Robert Carlyle.

EDIT: It is Sir Sean Connery. And I forgot Robbie Coltrane, who has an OBE. The other two have nothing, nor does James McAvoy or John Hannah.

I approve of the content of this message.

But I shall call him Sir Captain Jean Luc Picard, of the USS Enterprise...We'll have to change the song now.

It is sad that most of us only "know" Patrick Stewart through his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek-Next Generation. His achievements, and careerer, are far more vast than that! ..|

I have no doubts that the acknowledgment of all of his accomplishments are well, and finally, deserved! :=D:

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz ;)

Are you sure about Jackson? I went over the list of knighthoods yesterday, and I didn't notice his name. Nor was it mentioned in the Times (London) article.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

But aren't they only allowed one queen at a time?

And would it not be correct to address the knight as Captain, Sir Jean Luc Picard formally?

Jus curious is all.

So...a little identity theft and he becomes Sir Gene Louis Pickhard....newly appointed Captain of the U>S>S>

Lustbucket....okay?

And his uniforms did fit pretty good..not as well as hung long John "the Duke" Schneider...but definitely

adequate.
