Also a keen understanding of human nature.

Analytical skills are hot, too.

And Handy-skills, as well.

Really most skills are attractive in one form or another, unless it's something silly and tacky like making lawn gnomes or something.

Well dressed-ness. By no means implying "wearing the latest fashion items", but rather an individual sense of style. I'm very attracted to men with a thought through outfit that matches the personality.

Being able to cook a good meal is also a plus.

Good language is important.

Creative and artistic qualities or interests.

I definately understand the allure of artists but from my experience, they tend to be pretty flakey and I need a guy that at least has one foot firmly planted on the ground.

However, I am totally a sucker for a guy that plays piano. Hell, Id probably blow him while he plays.

I don't find that, but then again I tend to out-flake practically anyone within a quarter-mile radius; so naturally they'd appear less flaky by comparison.

While there is something to be said for the cliché 'artist's disposition', it's not exactly a hard and fast rule.

Perhaps it's drawing a false dichotomy, but I could never date, say, a bureaucrat. Some level of creativity/ passion is needed to keep me at all interested.

edit: Yeah, pianists are hot. Especially if they compose their own music (and it's good).

I know its weird but I get really turned on by hot guys who can do math, Algebra, Calculus, Statistics...In all of my college math courses there has been this one hot dude who i always partner up with the minute i see them...I pretend i cant do math they help me with problems, then smile and wink when i get it right..then i usually invite them back to my dorms for a late night study session which includes us fallen asleep on my bed 2gether with homework all around us...haha

How about someone who works as a bureaucrat because he can't make a living as a pianist, or a sculptor, a painter, etc?

I'm just bringing this up because not every guy is going to be defined by his make-a-living job. Mine is not my life; it's what I do to pay for my life, which begins when I leave the office.

Hey, what's with this? I can do it, but I find it uncomfortable, it makes way more sense (since I'm right handed) to eat with my right hand.

Do you recognize any of those (I know you know that last one)? I've really sung the Mozart, Palestrina, and Gaelic folk in public; I can sing the Orff, English folk, and Mercury, but haven't performed them.

Such stereotyping haha. But okay, I admit I do know the last one. And the next to last one. But I don't listen to a lot of classical music and such. I also don't listen to a lot of country music either! I like alternative and indie rock, and various instrumental soundtracks to movies. Not saying I won't listen to a good quality music, even classical as I did listen to this one Mozart CD i had over and over, but what I will generally not listen to is R&B, hip-hop, and rap...they just don't do it for me...in general. If there's no real singing, or what I think is real singing, I tend to have a distaste for it. I also like anything (non-country) that I can learn to play along with on the acoustic guitar.
