I do understand that it's a cultural thing. For example, people from South America do not make eye contact with authority figures, it is considered disrespectful. However, McGreevy is from NJ. He's a home grown duplicitous sneak.

One reason I raise this point has not been addressed so far. And I'm talking about the issue of gay marriage threatening the sanctity of marriage.

We hear over and over about how gay marriage is such a threat to the institution of marriage. Yet, the reality is that it is that they are doing a damn fine job destroying it themselves.

We see it happening on the right, and we see it happening on the left. It's once sex scandal after another. Most recently the new NY Gov. admitted to extra-marital affairs during a troubled time in their marriage.

To point out hypocrisy on one side, and not the other, would be hypocritical, itself.

Well, yes. Here we have two straight people and a closet queen in an episode of "Please Bang My Wife." But frankly, I've heard about enough open relationships among gay men that I'm not sure I want to get all worked up into a high dudgeon about Mr. and Mrs. McGreavey.
