Sleep Number Bed

If you want to try it - go to a Radisson - they have these mattresses. I stayed at a Radison for 2 weeks on business - and I HATED that thing. The lowest number was like sleeping on the bed frame and hard as a rock - the middle was just like an average mattress. The highest number was again - hard as a rock. I would NEVER spend the money on one of these. I have a nice Sealy Posturpedic Pillow Top and I love it.

Does anyone know if Radisson still has these beds? If they do, do they have them in every room or would I have to get a certain room?

Yes.

The Select Comfort bed isn't supposed to make wheezing sounds. It's supposed to get to a certain level and stay there. It can be loud GETTING to a certain level, but once it's there, it's supposed to simply maintain the pressure. Ours doesn't make any noise once it's set. Maybe the ones you've slept on have been old and "wheezy". :)

Pubert and I actually got two twin Select Comfort beds in a king size frame. It's worked out great, since I like a much firmer bed (65) than he does (30). There is, of course, that "seam" in the middle, but we haven't found that to be an issue.

Do you still have your bed? Do you still like it and think it was worth the money?

In it right now. I love it. My partner's side has gotten abit of a quirk - the display for the "sleep number" is mostly out. That wouldn't be an issue with me, since I never change the settings. He does, though, so it means a bit of guesswork. (Filling it up to 100, then slowly backing down to the level he wants...)
