I've got an unusual problem...
Ever since I was young (wow.. that seems so long ago! LOL) probably from the age of 20 onwards, I noticed that my sleep pattern had gone haywire.
So, what I tried to do was go to bed around 11pm, get comfy and read a book for a while. Waited for that 'drifting off' feeling to arrive, but it never came.
Well... I'm 38 now, and rather than growing out of it, it's still as bad as ever. I've been to 3 Doctors, who have all done tests, which have come back negative and they are all puzzled as to why I am not sleeping. I won't touch sleeping pills at all! (I tried to end my life once.. but not cos of this problem!)
These days, I am pretty much used to being awake all night, and just sleeping the odd hour (believe me... I feel fine afterwards). The only thing I cant get used to is the constant feeling of being alone. I would ask the partner to keep me company, but these days, all he cares about is himself... full stop! (trust me.. I was seriously ill once, and I still had to do everything myself)
I don't think it's stress... as I run my company from home, and work is stable at the moment... and all fine there. It's definately not financial worries as again, stable there too. I think it might be that I constantly feel alone.
Any ideas? I would love to hear (or rather read!) your thoughts... thanks all
