Except for 5 years when I was in a relationship, I have slept alone. The odd night I have slept (not having sex necessarily) with another guy. I am sometimes surprised by the number of guys who say that they prefer to sleep alone. I am older and would love (I think) to have a younger guy sleep over. I am wonder if most guys prefer to sleep alone or prefer to have someone next to them during the night.

Much prefer sleeping with somebody hugging me, something very comforting about that. Have been single for a while now - have had partners but nothing like falling asleep as the little spoon.

I much prefer to sleep alone. Not into overnights except in very special circumstances.
Do the deed and kick them out!

My partner and I now sleep in separate rooms because we're grumpy if we don't. Being cuddled is a very nice thing...until you get too warm.

I can count on my fingers the number of nights I have slept with someone in my entire life. It's a special feeling but not really comfortable. I prefer sleeping alone and turning in every direction as I've always done.

I was so scared I was going to wake them up I went and slept in my living room. I am a cuddler, they were not. I toss and turn a lot if not cuddling. I always felt a queen size bed is a great size. Turns out not so much for two full sized adults.

Not counting dogs I slept by myself until I met my partner at age 45. Before that a couple guys have spent the night but rarely except for one guy I hooked up with many times but he was like 5-7 130 and didn’t take up much space. I worried that sleeping with someone constantly like my partner might be a tough adjustment but that was not the case. He liked to snuggle and spoon and I had no problem adjusting to that. Eventually we got a puppy so it was the three of us but when puppy became a large dog who had to sleep between us he moved downstairs so we all could actually sleep. He passed about 18 months ago and the dog went last month so now I have a big empty bed and I don’t like it.

I would say that Mizzy is my sleep buddy most nights...down between my legs and I miss her when she isn't there.

Once she jumps up and settles...then I feel that we are both secure and will fall back to sleep.

More recently, I've allowed Coco to nestle up, ala inner spoon, but as Kahaih stated very well, it makes getting out to go to the kitchen or bathroom a whole maneuver, and no matter how carefully I hold her or scoot out, she generally gets up and repositions. But, she gets tons of naps during the day, so I don't feel too guilty about getting up.

I prefer to sleep alone. I was a restless sleeper as a child, and now I snore, so I would be terribly self-conscious sleeping with anyone. I also wake in the night as well as rise early, so more reasons to sleep alone.

I just have to ask. Are you happy?

Essentially yes, however sometimes minor adjustments are needed.

Well, you could offer to just pee in bed if that's more convenient!
I have threatened to do that when the cats don't want to dislodge from their comfy bednests
