Sleeping

I glanced over some replies, so forgive me if I repeat.

I dated a girl who was the same way. Here's what we did:

Start with introducing him into your bed. Keep something of his with a strong scent around your bed when you sleep alone. Subconsciously you may begin to equate his smell with good sleep. Slowly start sleeping over at his place. You may need to stay up late to be real tired, but don't back down.

Whelp the doc prescribed me Ambien CR (sp?), and I must say I have had the best nights' sleep in a long time. He did say something about putting me on anti anxiety pills though partially for the sleeping issue, and partially for the other issues in my life. He said it could definitely help with everything. He mentioned possibly Zoloft, but I thought that was a depression medication?
As drhladnjak said, Zoloft is used to treat anxiety also when it it chronic. Its actually a better choice than some of the regular anxiety meds because it is only taken once a day and it is does not have addictive potential.

I think its ok to trust your doctor. The treatment of insomnia and anxiety are a part of primary care medicine. Good Luck!
