Hello !

I'm not sleeping well for months now, and since a month or two I have very frequent sleepless nights. Since a couple days, I find now that I have difficulty in typing with my left hand. I often type a letter or two away from the key I wanted to type.

Does anyone know if there is correlation between the two ? Do I need to address that separately from the sleepless nights ?

Thank you !

You should start with your primary care physician. He can make the determination whether to send you for testing or whether he wants to refer you to a specialist for further evaluation.

This sounds really REALLY BAD to me.

I understand that from YOUR standpoint it was probably a gradual transition.

But PLEASE follow KB's advice and explain this to your GP!

I went to my GP yesterday, she put the lack of precision on the sleep deficit. Also my sugar level is way too high (I'm diabetic II) so that may have made things worse. I slept well yesterday and I can type normally today.

Thank you for your input !

That's why primary care doctors are so critical: they know their patient's history and can put the whole picture together.

I'm glad that she was able to make a determination of what might be causing the problem.

I'm so glad to hear that you are back to "normal". You're a great guy and a very special part of JUB -- glad you got it checked out and are in check!!! ..|

Thank you very much for your kind words. I'm not sure I deserve them :)
My GP had to prescribe me 2 weeks of sick leaves though. I'll go to my parents' to rest and try and have a better sleep pattern.

Just take care of yourself, my friend, and do what the doctors say.
