Sluggish JUB Rendering

I have a cable connection for the Internet, using Window Vista as my operating system and using Google Chrome as my web browser. The problem I am having is my computer, DELL XPS 420, is very slow at times in rendering the various JUB threads.

Is anyone else having this problem?
What can I do to speed things up?

Sometimes have same problem. Using Windows 7 on HP Paviliop dv6 laptop. Use IE for JUB and gay sites. Use Firefox for general/financial. Wireless.

Will try JUB on FF and let you know.

Have always assumed it was because MicroSoft is MicroSoft.

And sometimes it takes forever for a reply to load.

I have been having that happen as well on other sites. I was thinking that it was internet bottle-necking but don't really know. Well...I'm not really sure if that is what is called....what ever you call it when certain parts of the internet are held up and it has to find ways to get around it or take longer to get through it.

I have it as well using firefox 7. I just cleared the cache or as I just did instead I ran Superantispyware which found 210 spyware since I ran last nght.
It cleared it up. As it has done in the past. I used to never have this much spware on Firefox or something else has improved on this Superantispyware program to catch that.

I have this problem using Firefox on Ubuntu. With a fast connection.
It's always been this way.
I assume the site is, perhaps, not benefiting from the best in software architecture.

I having some speed problems with JUB and Yahoo. I'm wondering if it's a Charter problem.

Don't know who you use for internet though.

It started a few weeks ago for me, and only on JUB. It's in all the forums, all the threads, and even the Manage Attachments window. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day, either.

Hm, interesting replies. I was having this issue as well, but on Safari. On Firefox it doesn't seem to happen.

I am on Charter - and it has been way slower than it used to be the past few weeks...

Hmmm. My thread about weirdness in safari on iPad after update to ios 5 could be a different face hof the same issue, I suppose. But mine isn't slow; it just closes out of safari. When I reopen, I'm still in the thread, but whatever I've put in the reply window is gone.

Would love to move back overseas, but maybe NOT just for the sake of JUB working right

The threads are loading up faster for me and I probably have a slower computer than anyone here. I think it just might be the hours, right now it's super fast but when I post during the morning like midnight or 2am in the morning West Coast it lags a bit.

Also if you do only posting and not posting pictures and doing a lot of code on here, best to just use Quick Reply. It's faster.
