there is NOTHING worse than the anti smoking nazis - what a bunch of bullshit - we are paying 50% tax on cigarettes - thats right - an UNFAIR AND UNEVEN 50% tax - we are paying to put your shitty snot nosed fucking children through school while you take a deduction for each one of the vile little creatures - the law should be that you have to pay a HUGE increase to educated each child you have - not a fucking deduction - family of 5 uses resources of 5 and pays less in taxes than a single man who used the resources of one - BULLSHIT - we are not a strain on the system anymore than anyone else - lets add up the cost for unwanted teenage pregnacies - lets add up the cost for the pregnancies that they do have and all the cost - the welfare and social services - the cost of all the orphanages for all the abondoned ones - the list goes on and on and on -

And Depraved, as much as you'd like to think you're being wronged for having to pay an extreme amount to smoke in lieu of other things not being taxes(and having kids bringing a reduction, because hell forbid the government seeing that by taking care of another life you'd need a little bit of help on that), you've neglected to mention that you can, in fact, stop smoking in order to not pay said amount. It's like crying over split milk when you decide to dump it over your head after opening it.

no its not - its an UNEVEN and UNFAIR taxation - and its certainly worth rebelling over - I shouldnt have to quit smoking to avoid and UNFAIR AND UNEVEN tax - you dont have to set down your twinkies or cocktails or perfume or whatever your vice might be because you are being targeted UNFAIRLY.

I wish smokers would realize how bad they smell, even when not smoking. They should be using more deodorizers.....not just breath spray but something for their clothes, their furniture, their car, their house, etc.

Good point. I have a friend who smokes. A couple of weeks ago I loaned him ny truck for a four-hour trip. He didn't smoke in it, but just the reek from his clothes left the nasty sour smell in my truck. I took it out with all the windows down for a 75mph drive to blow the filth out.

I know this is old as dirt but I will say this. If you take away smokers rights then you should take away the rights of anyone who wears perfumes and colognes as well because both are just as nasty and toxic to people around them.

Millions of people suffer from migraines every year. One of those triggers is strong odors. As such, it is completely irresponsible and cruel to wear perfumes and colognes around other people who may end up being affected.

I don't get the migraines; I get nausea. Cologne and perfume should be worn so they're not noticed till you lean in close.

I did that once. It sat a couple of hours, on a street fraternity guys had to come down to move in at the start of the school year. So I stuck another sign on it that said, "Comes with six-pack. Inquire within."
It was gone in ten minutes. The guy wanted Bud Lite......


I hate smoking and I think anyone who's proud of smoking is missing a chunk in the good sense department. OTOH I've demonstrated in support of bars being able to decide if they want smoking or not. I hate those laws partly because they drive the air polluters out onto the sidewalk and others have to walk through their toxic fumes, but I mostly hate them because it's the government being totally busybody.
