It's an age old question that has no difinitive answer.

People who say they wouldn't are only saying it. Yet if the right man came along and his only downfall was cigarettes opinions would change. If the guy liked you enough as well and saw how much happier you were with him not smoking then he may choose to quit.

Very good answer!

I'm a smoker, and one that hopes to have the strength to quit soon.

Most guys who've never smoked have no idea how addicting it is, and how hard it is to put them down.

I bet if the right man came into my life, it would probably give me the right motivation to quit, but that hasn't happened yet.

You're much younger than me, so I wish you the best success, and even if this isn't the right guy, You'll be the biggest winner in this situation regardless.

Sorry, smoke makes me physically ill, so NO!

Everyone knows it's really, really difficult to quit; but dammit for your health's sake, please, please do it!

Let the JUBBERS here be your support system, so whenever you feel the need, quickly go online and write to one of us, anyone, or one you feel close...er to???

I try NOT to be judgmental toward smokers and I really, really do try to help, so don't think ill of those of us who just canNOT abide with it..........K?

Good luck and give it your all (if you are serious)!(*8*)

I tried twice...Kissing them became a chore the taste was just horrible when we kissed..Plus I watched my mother die from the effects of smoking so my answer is NO!!!

It has been a week and five days since I've quit. HA!

If you get the urge to go digging in an ashtray, suck on a mint or a hard cock to alleviate cravings.

I lost weight when I quit because I gained energy and tried to get over cravings by working out or taking a walk.

However, after six months smoke free, my stupid ass bought a pack and I'm hooked again. I'll try quitting again and not giving in.

I'm wishing everyone the best in their fight with the cancer sticks.

I don't know. I don't like the smell of cigarette smoke it burns, but if the guy was worth it then yes I would. Although I may attempt to persuade him to quit.

So did you end up quitting, Shag?

To answer the question, guy or girl, no. Smoking is a total and complete deal breaker whether that be for a relationship, friends or even hanky panky.
