I too wondered, especially after seeing the chair and the metal desk. Couldn't decide what kind of room it was.

Having stayed in a lot of hotels, the legal stuff posted on the back of the door gave it away for me. The light-weight desk chair made it certain- I've seen those in a lot of Hilton and Marriott properties. :)
 
I've never seen the metal desk in a hotel room and never ever the sink in the main room
