1 - seemed more secure / safe in the elevator
b - strangers and one talked the other in showing off
3 - he really wanted to be on his knees in front of the other?

I was guessing lighting and/or the angle to get a clear shot. A direct on picture probably would have created shadows on the guy's beautiful body in a closed-in small elevator. You know how when you take a picture with a cell phone and the light is behind you, you get a shadow of the phone on the subject.
