SILVER LADY GOES PLATINUM OVERNIGHT!

95 year old Elizabeth Windsor woke up this morning to discover that she had been transformed from a silver-haired lady into a platinum blonde!

It is 70 years ago today while in Kenya with Prince Philip that she heard the news of the death of her dear father King George VI and our late sovereign of happy memory!

While many people of her age are dribbling their way through a bowl of cornflakes in a residential care home this lady works tirelessly seeing ministers and foreign dignitaries, reading and signing State papers and attending official functions!

Whatever your personal view of monarchy and of our monarch one cannot deny that she is a living legend!

As an English language specialist I have to say that her English is a joy to listen to and it has rightly been called THE QUEEN'S ENGLISH!

The irony of the whole situation is that at the age of 73 her eldest son is still waiting to start work when most people of his age have been retired several years!

It only remains for me to say
