I was looking at music online and I came across an album from a band called The Meat Shits. They are obviously homophobic and they make songs about killing gay men and slaughtering all homosexuals. They have an album titled "Sniper At The Fag Parade" and on the cover there is a head blown off near a pool of blood (it's supposed to be the head of a gay man I believe). Part of me thinks that they can't be serious and that they are doing this for shock value, but it just seems so uhhh over the top to me. I just thought I'd post it and see what you guys think.

The problem with "shock value" things is that what might be a view of the mind for the author of such imagery could be interpreted as acceptable behaviour by their feebler minded follower!
 
Well, artists these days gotta do something to compete with the shock value of Eminem, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Kanye West. lol @ their ~controversial CD selling at $10.99 a pop.

EDIT: Oh, this album came out in 2002. I can't imagine why they never went anywhere.
 
LOL! They are more of an underground band, but have have a pretty big devoted colt following. The lead singer is devoutly anti-gay though, they have released a shit load of cds, and all of them are pretty much just anti-gay propaganda.

lol, I don't know, it doesn't even really bother me, tbh. Just try hard antics from a nobody who wants so desperately to look tuff. I can't decide whether its sad or funny. Perhaps a little bit of both?

a) I think I've seen that cover pic before, isn't it the head of a suicide bomber?

b) The pic has a copyright and I doubt the band paid royalties to use it, so they can easily be sued by the copyright holder.

c) The Black Metal band Mayhem still has the more shocking and disgusting cover pic.

You may actually be right about the head shot picture, it does look like the head of a dead Iraqi kinda. But they are obviously implying that it is supposed to be the head of a dead gay man. So they could get sued huh? ha ha ha ;)
